The Brigadier General David (Dudik) Carmon Award for outstanding research work in graduate and postgraduate studies
The award is given for outstanding research work in international relations, security and the Middle East.
Preference will be given to research specializing in Israeli security or Israeli intelligence.
The amount of the prize: 10,000 NIS
The prize will be awarded to the winner at a ceremony to be held as part of the institute's events
Deadline for submitting applications: 15 May 2024.
Terms of the award

Nominations for the award will be accepted from students at the Hebrew University only who belong to one of these groups:
- Graduates of a master's degree (research track) at the Hebrew University whose final thesis has received an outstanding grade and one year of study has not yet elapsed from the date of receiving the degree.
- Students studying for a PhD at the Hebrew University, in Phase A or B until the end of the third year of their studies.
Receipt of the award is conditional on participation in the ceremony.
The documents that must be attached for submitting the application:
- CV (which will include a letter address, email address, home phone number and cell phone).
- Grade sheet of the degree (MA and / or PhD, according to academic status).
- Letter of recommendation from the facilitator or facilitators. If there is more than one moderator - will send directly via email.
- Summary of the research paper submitted to the competition in Hebrew or English - up to one page.
- A postgraduate student will submit a valid study certificate for the relevant academic year.
