Like many of you, we at Sophie Davis Forum have been following closely the difficult developments in Afghanistan in recent days, paying special attention to the higher potential for harm to women and girls. We also pay attention to the rescue efforts and rescue stories in the tender many of which are women.
On August 31, the day of the final evacuation, the reality will change again and we intend to follow in the coming months the developments in the country through a series of meetings with Afghan women inside and outside the country and women who work in solidarity with them.
The first event on the subject will take place on Wednesday, September 1 from 18:00 to 19:30
And will deal with the rescue efforts that have taken place since the occupation of the state and the current reality of life in Kabul.
