In March 2022, the Davis Institute, the Israeli
Institute for Regional Foreign Policies—MITVIM,
and the International Relations Council of
Turkey (UIK) held a joint event to discuss
the warming of Turkey-Israel relations after
developments in the international environment,
specifically the visit by Israel’s President Herzog
to Turkey. The event hosted speakers from Israel
and Turkey who took part in a closed discussion
between the countries’ experts, and a public
event (via zoom) with the participation of Prof.
Dr. Meliha Altunışık, Prof. Dr. Mustafa Aydın,
Prof. Dr. Çağrı Erhan, Dr. Salih Bıçakcı, Dr. Gil
Murciano (Director of Mitvim), and Dr. Gallia
Lindenstrauss.
