Date:
Mon, 06/01/202017:00-19:00
Armed conflicts shape the lived experiences of individuals of diverse populations and social location (gender, status, nationality, religion, sexual orientation, ethnicity, age) in different ways. At the same time, many of us have a limited ability to impact the management and resolution of conflicts that shape our lives and the lives of others.

The Experts’ Panel on Gender Aspects of Conflicts and Conflict Resolution, taking place on
Monday, January 6, 2020 5:00-7:00pm at the The Dan Wassong Auditorium, Yitzhak Rabin. Building, Mount Scopus campus will address the questions:
Why is it important to examine gender aspects of and perspectives on conflicts and conflict resolution? How conflicts impact women of diverse populations, in Israel and globally? How do the UN and other international agencies and entities view integration of women in conflict resolution processes? How do women participate in conflict resolution processes in locations around the globe? How do Israeli women of diverse populations promote and enable women's participation in conflict resolution processes?

Please note:
The event will take place in Hebrew and will be recorded.
